1) Installation
a) Appexchange
To install SignRequest for Salesforce, you should access Salesforce's Appexchange. For that, you should search for 'SignRequest' in the search bar. Or follow the link below:
After logging in to Appexchange, you should find a 'Get It Now' button that will forward you to the Appexchange's installation process.
After clicking on 'Get It Now', it will give you two options, to either Install in Production or as a Sandbox.
Follow the Appexchange instructions, here you should be asked for your billing details.
2) SignRequest Setup
When you are done installing SignRequest for Salesforce. You can access SignRequest SetUp to perform your first SignRequest configuration in Salesforce. This can be done to either a custom or standard object. You can find those options using the Applauncher. See example below.
In SetUp SignRequest you can choose the object you wish to configure SignRequest for. You can do that via the 'Select Object' dropdown menu. After that, you can choose 'Who', which takes one of three values: 'Only Others', 'Me and Others' and 'Only Me'. Next, it's possible to set up a custom Subject and Message.
Next, you can set up your Prefill Signers and setup the Prefill Tags array.
Afterwards, wait for the confirmation alert that your object has been created.
3) Page Layout
When you successfully create your SignRequest Setup. It's necessary to add the new 'Send SignRequest' button to your object.
Go to Setup > Object Manager > Your Object > Page Layout > Your Object Layout
a) Send SignRequest button
On the top bar, choose Mobile and Lightning. Drag and Drop the button to your Object's page.
b) Related List
Drag and drop SignRequest's Related List to that Object's page.
c) Send a SignRequest
Go to your custom/standard object, go to your Salesforce record. Press Send SignRequest.
d) Authentication
After you press Send SignRequest for the first time with your Salesforce user, you should be asked to authenticate your Salesforce account in SignRequest. After you press 'Send SignRequest', you will be redirected to SignRequest's User Interface via a pop up, please allow SignRequest access to your Salesforce account, next you will receive a confirmation by e-mail, which should also be confirmed. Press 'Send SignRequest' again and you're good to go.

When troubleshooting the authentication, it is possible to delete it and start a new authentication process again.
4) Prepare Document
When using SignRequest for Salesforce, it is necessary to prepare your document manually using our Preparation Tags.

Advanced:
-Add Attachment to Parent Object
It is possible to add attachments to the parent object when using SignRequest for Salesforce, so that you can expand the possibilities of attached templates in your Salesforce object.
Follow the next steps to configure your attachments to the parent object:
1) Open Salesforce Setup in the up-right corner of your browser page.
2) Next search for 'Custom Settings' in the Setup search bar.
3) Where you can find 'SignRequest' click on 'Manage'.
4) Press 'New' Button.
5) Tick both "Link attachment to parent" and "Link file to parent". After that, press 'Save'.
-Known issues:
1) Domain Settings:
If you use SignRequest with a team and have your own subdomain, Salesforce should be configured to use the same subdomain as well. For that, make sure you specified your subdomain in SignRequest SetUp. Both your Custom Settings and your Visualforce Page should mention the same subdomin used in SignRequest. Troubleshooting:
1) Navigate to Setup > Custom settings > SignRequest Settings
2) Click on Manage > click 'New' on top.3) Field "team domain" should equal to https://<teamname>.signrequest
2) License Suspended:
Please, contact our Tech Support, mention your Organization ID on the support ticket.
3) Requesting Support:
To facilitate your support experience, make sure you grant us login access for at least one week. Also, do not forget to share your Organization ID with us.
4) Multi-Docs:
SignRequest for Salesforce currently does not support multi-docs.
